Sharks are one of the most powerful, yet misunderstood, predators of the ocean. An apex predator, their role in the ecosystem and their importance to the balance of the oceans is just one of many reasons why the dangerous perception society tends to place around them can have a negative affect on conservation efforts. We hope to educate you on the biology, behavior, and ecology of sharks during this experience to help shift the perception of this species.

Although sharks are not the mindless killing machines that society often portrays them as, they absolutely demand the upmost respect as they are still very capable predators and wild animals. This experience is only lead by our staff marine biologist and expert shark safety team. Safety of our guests and respect for the sharks are the top priority of this experience. We have a 100% safety record.

The number of sharks present, the individuals present, the behavior, and the frequency of sightings can change from day to day.

You can experience the following species on this excursion: blacktip reef shark, grey reef shark, white tip reef shark, lemon shark, nurse shark, oceanic whitetip shark, silky shark, whale shark, tiger shark.

This experience is done ONLY ON FREEDIVING/SNORKELING. You do not need any prior shark experience or any scuba certifications to participate in this expedition. We accept clients of all ages to board the vessel but recommend children be at least 5 years old to enter the water with a parent. You must be able to enter and exit the water via ladder without assistance to join this experience.

A thorough briefing will be given by staff on safety procedure, regulations and guidelines, as well as in- water safety crew at all times.
